Emotional Wellbeing

  • Queen Mary students can access the 24/7 Student Wellbeing Helpline - 0800 028 3766 – at any time of the day or night, 365 days per year. This line is staffed by trained counsellors who can offer our students emotional support.
  • Please visit the External support organisations web pages on the Advice and Counselling website for a carefully curated list of websites, helplines and email counselling, blogs and lots of advice and information.
  • This includes Togetherall which is a free online service available to all of our students 24 hours per day for 365 days of the year. Togetherall can help you get support, take control and feel better whether you’re struggling to sleep, feeling low, feeling stressed or unable to cope with student life. To join Togetherall, sign up using your Queen Mary University of London e-mail address.
  • Togetherall provides a safe space online to get things off your chest, explore your feelings, get creative and learn how to self-manage your mental health and wellbeing. It also provides access to a 24/7 online community and professional support from trained counsellors. Togetherall is totally anonymous, so no one will know you’ve chosen to use it (unless you tell them!).
  • QMSU have developed a 'Walk and Talk' Facebook page for students living on campus or in the local areas to connect with each other, go for a walk and chat to help tackle isolation and inactivity.
  • As Christmas is coming up it can be a difficult time of year for some, especially during these uncertain times. The Student Space offers a range of articles to help you think about, plan for and manage the end of term.
  • Information about all of the support available to students when the University is closed can be found online on the Student Wellbeing Hub.
